SRT Advanced
The SRT Advanced course is only available for guides who have completed a SRT Standard or have extensive whitewater experience. This demanding four-day course will cover, in addition to the SRT Standard skills: live bait rescues, zip lines, high-line tyrolean, and night search. A major portion of this class is scenario based. To receive the SRT Advanced certification, students must pass a written exam, dynamic swim, anchors, knots, mechanical advantage, and throwbag test. This is the perfect course for river and rescue professionals who want to take their swiftwater rescue skills to the next level. This course is NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 1670/1006 Compliant.
