ORS Awareness (Level 1) – 1 day

Occupational River Safety level I is a one day classroom based course introduces river professionals to rescue philosophy ,core principles, , river hydrodynamics/morphology, risk management, incident command system (ICS), Incident Action Plan (IAP), pre-trip planning, and discussion of personal protective gear. This course is taught in combination with Level II and Level III. It is also offered upon request for private groups of six or more.
