Learn kayak-based rescue from accomplished expedition paddlers. At Rapid Action Rescue our kayak specific rescue course is our specialty. This course is perfect for paddlers who have a combat roll and are looking to safely attempt new and possibly more difficult rivers and creeks. Skills taught in this course will include rescue theory overview, use of throw bags, equipment discussion, new river choice and approach, boat based rescues, applicable knots, pin boat retrieval/mechanical advantage, body/boat entrapment, and rescue of an unconscious victim.
